I like the S'Mores nacho style baked (no open fires in Town Park) in a fry pan on a stove - first heat up cut up apples, banana with rum, chocolate chips and mini marshmellows.  One cooked, set in a plate, put broken graham crakers in the pan, add the appbanchomarsh-mash and add more choc chips, cover with foil and heat until chocolate chips melt.  I think I got more than one person off their south beach diet with that one.

Great information, guys!  So what might be in a typical bluegrass cooler?  How much of things to share?  Are we talking ounces, pounds, or vats?   EEK!  Kaptain Karlos, where art though?  Your input is requested!!

I just mooch off of each camp site.. LOL...That way I don't have to bring any food... Pipe Just kidding...There's usually a huge kitchen set up at our camp and someone is always cooking something. It  makes it alot easier on us folks who fly out from the east coast to just pitch in some cash on chow.  I also like going in town to get something to eat. One of my favorite places to go is Maggie's... Didn't I see you in there one time last year Rhonny?

and of course there is JERRY!!!!!!

LOL... considering the amount of traipsing around I do in the two weeks that I'm there... it's not only likely but probable.  What's at issue here is whether or not I can even remember where MAGGIE's is?!   huh

My memory is even shorter than I am!

Hey there Daniela... I took a little trip over to Carson City, NV this past weekend in order to procure a big load of the finest Basque chorrizo on Earth.  You'll get to taste it at the Town Hall in either quesidillas, breakfast burritos, or some other concoction I dream up...

Some share - some don't... it's up to the individual.  I've always camped with a big group at TBF and have been camp coordinator, ABGAT, and chef, so this sharing of stuff comes natural to me.  If you want to join-in with some food, the entire camp Pot-Luck before the fashion show is a great place to bring a dish.

Hippie Jerry and I are a bit out of the ordinary 'cause we like to cook and feed everybody around us even if we don't know who you are.   This year there will be homebrew on tap, too!  Pickers give us music.  We give pickers food.  It's a bit of a trade sometimes...

I bring a booze cooler filled with hard liquor and mixers.
I bring a meat cooler filled with frozen meats to barbecue.
I bring a bread, fruit, and veggie cooler for the things I don't want covered in meat juice.
I bring a round drink cooler for big mixed drinks like bloodys and margs.
I bring an extra cooler for storing stuff in... I just like coolers!

So... What-cha all got in your cooler for the festival!

Kaptain Karlos  Cheers

Ok ....its looking good for the Turkey Fry ....have to talk with Boulder Dave to firm things up
We are shooting for a 12 bird Fry with a 3 or 4 burners ...Its gonna have to be an all day event

With Tues being Booked with the Brew Tasting then The Oyster/Catfish/RockyMtnOyster Fry
With Wed being Booked with Bloody Marys /Orvis/Rumballs/Pot Luck/Fashion Show

we only have one choice if we can pull this off .......THURSDAY !!
Tom and I and Karlos have discussed this I just have to get the ok from from Dave , if anyone else wants in to help cook , Chime In

I think we should do this at Town Hall ....with the Mayor being the overseerer..

any suggestion are welcome
