The garlic roaster is actually very low tech and EASY to assemble. Since garlic is one of the essential ingredients in any recipe here is my technique:

Go to your local purveyor of plants - some people call it a nursery,,,

Purchase:
1  8 inch terra cotta pot base
1  6 inch terra cotta pot

Brush your whole garlic heads to free all of the dirt and put them in the terra cotta pot.
Invert the garlic filled pot on the terra cotta base.

Place the joined terra cotta unit on the weber after you have finished cooking dinner. Put the lid on the weber and crack the top air vent just a tiny bit; Close the  bottom vents.

Check back in an hour, your Garlic heads should be soft and lightly browned. If not let them go until they are.

I prefer to just let these little morsels cool before squeezing them from the top to squirt the baked ambrosia directly into my waiting mouth. Other wise just save them for your morning ohmlette or evening mole.

Folkseseses,
I am making fortune cookies for our fabulous potluck, and I would love some inspiration for the fortunes!
If you're so inclined, please send me your favorite quotes, with authors if you know them. If you end up getting your own quote in a cookie, I think that could be considered extreme good fortune!
I know we're all starting to get packed up and making final preparations, so safe travels to everyone. I look forward to meeting those of you I haven't yet, and so look forward to seeing old friends.

That is both excellent and true!
I've always (or at least for the past 7 years)said that if I can just get to Festival, I can deal with whatever the other 51 weeks throw at me.
Thanks Connie!

This doesn't really have anything to do with TBF, but I got this when I won a game of Taipei on the computer.  I have held it close to my heart ever since.
