I love listening to the Stringdusters' set; I'd forgotten the cool covers that they ran out: What's Goin' On, I Want to Take You Higher, Jessica, and 2001! I wish more bands would use that site. I'm glad to pay $10 to have music like that from shows I've heard in person.
TBH, I cannot make head nor tails of bt.etree.org. It's like they're speaking an unknown language to me. Is archive.org falling out of favor with tapers for some reason? That site works so smoothly, but there is still no RockyGrass I can find there. I used to be able to get lots there.
As to the Douglas/Meyer set, I have heard Jerry Douglas numerous times with his own band, he's so brilliant he can play any music, and that's what he tends to do. Edgar Meyer generally goes right over my head. I guess I'm an old time riff-based guy and those artists are like modal. There's not much groove. Odessa Settles was quite charismatic, and Edgar's nephew kept the set from being a total snooze, but it was not to my taste.
