Thanks Rob!

Well, I can't say you haven't put me off a bit though... I was never tough enough for rugbyRolleyes

I think LalaGay is being a bit coy here. Wink

I just spent the weekend in her native land and every one of those sweet, gentle looking old ladies can knock you sideways when they want to get on the metro.

Add the speed of youth and I think the Brits may just have the upper hand in the form of Lalagay LOL.

Keep it quiet UK. Thumbs Up

And again, I found myself laughing out loud reading the latest additions to this threat!!!  LOL  LOL  LOL  LOL

Boogiefool, I appreciate your confidence in the French, but sadly there's no actual french blood in me, so please don't get your hopes up...  Wink

I've got that sweet english "I'm dreadfully sorry..." nature which doesn't really work with a competitive spirit  Rolleyes

But, if I must, I'll do my best to bring out the French attitude in me, for the sake of all UK Tarp runners  Flower

Oh Tony!!  (said in the style of "Oh Tim" again.)

You're letting the side down - just me to slip up now then I'm sure I'll get pounced on.

I hope you're not referring to any un natural explosions... Flower Mr ABGAT will provide enough natural quote explosions quote of his own. Perhaps you should start looking for a kayak as a little birdie told me he was planning a tea party, boston style, in Bear creek.

Do brits do well without regular infusions of tea? It's been about 350 years since Sir Thomas left Lunsford cross.

God Bless Utah Phillips.....RIP

Even the most 'un-British' of Brits have to sneak off for the occasional fix of infused leaf tea.  It's the first thing I pack on every trip to the US, I even got asked once in a restaurant if I had my own tea bags (what must you think of us?).

For TBF, I plan to live like a native so point me in the direction of music, beer, party or even coffee ...... and I'll go running.  I'm sure sleep's over rated anyway.

Running ??? Now hold on don't give the impression we're all going to join in.

I'm an Olympic class snorer so I will have to get some training in sometime.

You finally do get tea in the States and then you get offered soya milk - food of the devil.  I remember a particular nasty experience my wife had on the Circle Line Cruise boat.

Im thinking the whole Brit Band Jamming IN BEAR CREEK !

now there is a Kodak Moment !
 Cheers

IKnow I know ....Shut Up Ron !
 Evil

Now I know that my UK/US translations are not perfect, but isn't a creek normally something with water in it?

Perhaps the singers could perform from Bear Creek, I however have a guitar to keep dry. (Phew, got out of that one well!)

Not a bit of it! Considering how we both interpret bits of the same language differently on either side of the pond, getting you into Bear Creek may be considered hydration. Besides, I'm planning on being on a tea run when the sacrifices take place.

Mid-Eighties?? pop. Orchestral Manouevres In The Dark had a track called Enola Gay. They had a lot of great tracks as well but that was the reference to the plane that either carried or dropped the big one.

Can't see a synth band making it at TBF though. Doesn't mean I won't be playing some in my tent. EEK!
