The time has come ... 2 1/2 weeks until many of us will see each other again!  Wave

Looks like we will shoot for Monday morning again (10am-noon?), but move back down to the bathhouse in the Town Park campground where it was enjoyed for many years. It is easier to find for the first timers, and more room for folks to festivate!  :dance  horsey

IN ADDITION ... Hipchc suggested having some Mimosas for those who don't do Bloodys. Having different juices and some berries to float would be joyous! Let's hear from you bubbly imbibers!  :hug

This is what we need for the usual 30 gallon batch of Debbie's famous Bloodys:

30 Large Cans tomato juice
6   Large bottles of vodka
6   Large bottles of Worcestershire
6   Large bottles of Tabasco
6   Large jars of horseradish (not creamed)
6   Large bottles of lime juice

Also needed,  celery salt, ground pepper, ice, fresh limes, olives, celery, dilly beans, etc., and whatever other garnishes you'd like to bring. Gonna keep the spice down as a base line, so we will want some festive hot sauces like we had last year!! I'm hoping to have some very festive garnishes that are not on this list ... lets see if I can pull that off. I'll give you 2 clues, one is Hooch's fav and the other his nemesis.

For Mimosas, depending on how many people respond, we would at least need:

2-3 bottles of champagne
orange juice, really whatever juice is your favorite
blueberries, raspberries, etc

If you have interest, especially if you can help - please reply to this thread so I can keep track.
Can't wait to see everyone!!  Love  Sunshine

Cheers,
Paul

From the old thread I have:

Hippie - fresh horseradish
Buckeye - 2 cans tomato and his famous Buckeye vodka
Debbie - 2 cans tomato

FYI, the 30 cans of tomato juice are the hardest to round up ... they take up so much room! So whoever is driving see if you can squeeze in a couple of those cans. We can also grab any extras at the market there.

Even tho I don't do bloody's, I'm down to bring a couple large cans of tomato juice...

I'm also completely down to help out for the mimosa portion... I'll bring various juices and can also pick up some fresh berries. I have a friend who lives in town so perhaps I can even freeze them!
(They make perfect 'ice cubes'..)

Really looking forward to festival, and reuniting with my chosen family!!!

I've actually never tried grapefruit juice (in a mimosa) before... However, some of my local AZ budz swear by the champapple  (apple juice)... A couple years ago, I created a champa-granate blueberry (blueberry pomegranate juice), and it was simply fruit-tastic!!! Let's get creative, folks!
I wonder if I should just start a 'Mimosa' thread.....

Hey Paul Wave. Count us in again.  Put us down for 2 large Worcestershire sauce, 2 large Tabasco, 1 Fresh horseradish again and I'll add 1 large Vodka and 1 bottle champagne.
We're in TP this year so I don't mind bringing extra since I don't have to lug it from Mary E.  WOOT!!!  So ready... Cheers

Thanks everyone! Looking good!!  Thumbs Up

Hipchc, You don't need to start a separate topic, unless you want to. We enjoy reading about the different juices and berry cubes  :) I think I have blueberries in the freezer. I'll let you know.

Thanks Debbie! I enjoy facilitating fun and festive activities that create or increase the festivarian experience   Festival Mentality
