Tom I asked at the local liquor store about the miabock from schells and there's is a maifest and as I thought it is a seasonal that they have stopped brewing for the year. Summit brewing is distributed fatter out and they have a maibock if that is what you'd prefer. I can still get either as of today but was told the maifest will be gone soon

Me in a nutshell. I will definitely have a wide variety of Montana beers in Town Park. If you bring a sour or good German style beer up to Camp Run a Muck, I'd be happy to swap you for anything I bring plus a shot of the infamous frog.

I've had to cut down on my alcohol consumption due to a bleeding ulcer, but I wouldn't mind if you'd bring a six pack of Mai-Bock and I'll pay you for it.

I'll see what I can do. I haven't seen any where I'm living now, so they may not be sipping it this far.

That's true, however ... there's much more excitement revolving around a possible camp sponsorship from NM's hottest new craft brewery!!

You probably already know this, but there are some very nice brews available at Telluride Brewing Company and they have a decent taproom.  Last year was our first year at TBF and visiting the brewery was on my to-do list.  We got there, ready to start our tasting only to realize we were actually at the Telluride Distillery.     So of course, we had to taste the Vodka and homemade Ginger beer.  Then they directed us a few doors down to where the brewery was.  Great folks all and great beverages.

Great German beers, and they imported their whole brewing system from Germany. I'll be sure to bring a good sampling from them. Along with a great range of IPA's and ales from more local brewers.

That sounds incredible! We've got one very traditional German Brewery in Montana. Both the owner and brewer are German transplants to Montana and they  brew strictly according to Reinheitsgebot. I'll be bringing plenty of their brews down.

It is, indeed! St Wilbur is a phenomenal beer, though I'd recommend Dragon's Breath Dark Heff if you're looking for a good wheat beer that's a little different from what you can typically find in the US.

Sounds like we'll have an early Oktoberfest in TP!  I'm hoping to fill a growler with their Pils. About the best beer to drink in summertime. Looking forward to sharing all these great brews.

A lot of places here will can beers off tap while you wait, so I'm hoping to make the rounds before heading to higher ground.

I haven't been to TBF in over ten years - don't think the brewery and distillery were there at that time (or am I wrong?). I'm going to have to get back one of these years!
