Greetings Festivarians!

Well, for whatever reason, we didn't have our fun teasing you guys with a one at a time lead up to preliminary artist announce for Telluride.

Brian should be posting our preliminary lineup later tonite; but, I figured the least I could do was give a shout out on the last day of fall.

I was hoping to have a couple more things done, but, alas, the holidaze hit and the agents, believe it or not, go home to their families.

Certainly we remain proud to be "the home" to what we consider the planet's greatest musicians and I can say they always look forward to coming to play for you on the summer solstice.

Amongst the usual suspects, we're excited to be bringing country superstar Dierks Bentley to pick with the McCoury boys.  Interestingly, Dierks attended The Festival quite awhile ago as he was just getting his bearings in Nashville.  In fact, he got a ride home from Telluride with Jason Carter; and, has been wanting to come back and play for awhile now.

We're also excited to get Brandi back, her sets in Telluride have truly been some of my favorites.  Last time she played, I couldn't contain myself and rushed into her dressing room where she was laying on the couch with a paper towel around her hand smiling.  I noticed blood seeping into the paper towel and asked her if she was ok.  She smiled and said something like, "Oh, yes, I'm juuuuuust fine, that was the best set I've ever played".  Certainly, the fact that her baby was born the day before might have had a little to do with it!

And, we're certainly looking forward to rocking out with Dispatch, described as "the band that redefined independent music history" after their historic "final" show in 2004 to 160,000 fans that flocked to the show from around the world. Yea, we're glad they get back together once in awhile!

And, speaking of getting back together once in awhile, we're of course honored to again present The Telluride House Band, who get together just once a year, - for you on the summer solstice.

We're not done yet, of course.  Know that at this time of year, we feel just a liiiiiiittle pressure to put on a great festival.  Something old, something new, something borrowed always blue.

Know also, that at this time of year we spend the holidays very grateful to have the opportunity to work for all of you.

Happy Solstice to all, and, well, we sure love you.
