  Pipe 2 Governor A to the J   Pipe 2

I just saw on-line that there have been fireworks scheduled for July 4th in many parts of the country (sans California). Did you do that for "Camp Green A Muck"? giggle

Our judges met. They poured over the entry forms and the comments. They walked through the campgrounds on Monday after the pack-out. And they talked to lots and lots of folks at the Festival.  After all the deliberation, the official winner is...

Camp Run A Muck!

 Medal  Medal  Medal

Congratulations!  We have a couple 2009 Town Park camping passes with your name on it...

 Medal  Medal  Medal

We received impressive entries from nearly every campground - every one but the new High School camping.  Congrats to all the finalists.  You all were an inspiration to us.

At the wrap-up meeting with the town of Telluride after the Festival, several town officials mentioned how impressed they were with the pack-out from this year's campers.  They said it was a huge improvement from past years. Thanks to everyone for camping by the leave-no-trace philosophy.  Well done, everyone.  Thumbs Up

Woo Hoo!!!  I am proud to say that I contributed to our campsite by putting stuff in the proper containers and also by not spitting!  However, I do want to voice a complaint that my Crunchy Frog drink was classified as "Toxic Waste", was then placed into a sealed lead container by large men with respirators, and buried in the earth's core.  I feel this was a bit over-reactive after that minor spill that ate through Karlos' foot.

Yes.  Flower If it takes place in Telluride under a full moon, dressed in tie-dye, with glowsticks and flowers in my hair, and you in a lampshade, and a cake shaped like a slab of bacon. Maybe even a bacon cake. Those are the easy greasy pre-nup terms; afterwards, life will be a thick slice of bacon paradise.  dancing kiss
