When did she drop off the line up or did I just dream it that she was on it?

Dont torture me! I have been on the Bring Ali to Telluride bandwagon for two years. Oh god, dont get me started...my heart started beating when i saw this thread.....what can i say, we have listened to her for thirty years and NEVER seen her. She doesnt come to Australia. She advertises gigs with only a few weeks notice. She is my holy grail cause i seriously think i will never see her live ( and she isnt even my favourite though i do think she has the sweetest voice) she just never plays anywhere i can see her,

Will shut up now....... Evil Evil

Oh my. So sorry. Maybe it was wishful thinking on my part.
She did put in an 'appearance' two years ago. She was on the schedule but only sang three songs.
I have seen her in concert once.
But if you haven't been to Telluride, this is a great time!!
See ya!

AK & Jerry, is what got me listening to bluegrass in the mid 90's. Though it was a Keith Whitley country song that swung me over to that pure voice, I quickly became mesmerized by Jerry's Dobro. 20 years later, I finally bought a Reso, and have started learning to play.

I have been spoiled seeing AK over the years, free festivals, and intimate shows in small venues. She even made a surprise appearance at a Brad Paisley arena show,  a girl took me to. BTW, Paisley is an amazing guitarist in his own right!

Though this is my 1st TBG, I couldn't think of anything more perfect than a full AK & Union Station set at Telluride in the future. Just hope I am there to see it!

I'm sure she'll come back with Union Station in the next few years. She loves playing Telluride.
