We will have an extra car or two during the festival we can't bring into town (1 parking pass per room).  I have never parked up in Mountain Village and don't know quite how the availability is.  If a person was to try and park mid day Sunday at Mountain Village and take the gondola into town what is the liklihood of finding a spot (the car would need to be left overnight)?

If you get in on Sunday before fest, you will probably be directed to in-town parking that's SOUTH of the High School.  If you are told to go to Mountain Village, there will be PLENTY of spots to park on Sunday.
