They had a fiddler for a long time, but his last show was New Year's. The new guy is brand new. This is the first time I've seen him. I don't know if he was on this recent tour with them or if they waited for a hometown show to introduce him. They actually met him while in Colorado for Winter Wonder Grass. He just had to finish up a few things before he could officially join in. Jake Simpson is his name. I believe he's a Lyons native.

Oh Jake is with them now? He IS great! I met him last year at Sarah's birthday party, and he knew every song I requested.  I saw him again just last month at the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown, can't remember what band he was playing with, but I'm so stoke he is now with the Lil Smokies!
