I'm actually pretty excited to see where they go next.  I never expected Billy to stick around for more than a couple of years, so his departure didn't really shock me much.

I hope they stick as a 5 piece for a while, I was really enjoying the 5 piece stuff they were doing before Bill jumped on board.

Regardless, I don't think you can go wrong with Salmon no matter who is playing with them, or how many pieces they have!

Matt. I agree. They are great with or without Bill. Just different.
Reminds me of the discussions we have had about Yonder after Jeff left the band. Yonder is still excellent, just different. Jeff and Allie are excellent musicians, and they mesh well with Ben and Adam.

Man, this is one slow "creep"

I think I heard ten artists over the weekend and thought "oh yeah, that person's gotta behind door number one!"

My guess for the 30 year wait could be Gregg Allan. He's been playing a lot and will be at Wannee Festival this spring!

Gregg Allman's a good guess.

I'll go with another 68 year-old (that the Dude won't like,) Don Henley.

And throw in a 74 year-old whose spouse was on stage a couple of years ago, Paul Simon.

Damn, that makes me feel old...

OK, OK. Even by my standards, this has been too teasy. Suffice it to say the artist I first wanted to tell you guys about has taken a bit of time to get announce details clear.

BUT, that should be done tomorrow.

I will say, that, finally, the name has arisen... some of you have guessed it.....

but, I can' just come out and SAY it! :)

I can say, that forever more, when it comes to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival...

I dunno.  We'll see later today, but I can't think that Ferg has been been trying and trying for 30 years to book Neil Finn.  If that really is his dream booking, I'll be the first one to admit that I am a terrible lineup guesser.

Hey Ferg - It's "tomorrow"!

Or is this like those bar signs that promise:  "FREE BEER TOMORROW!"

John,
In Canada, the bars have a sign that says free beer for all Leafs playoff games.
