Hi, we won the lottery last year, but not this year.  How does this work.  I see Lawson says you need a one day or 4 day festival pass to camp.  So, do you buy the camping first on 12/4 and then hop over to try to buy the festival tickets?

Thanks for any input!

Been a while since I've done it, but I'm pretty sure it's all on one purchase.  Put in x number of tickets, then head down to the camping section, put in your credit card, hit PURCHASE and pray!

You'll definitely want to get the 4 day in your cart before messing with the camping. You don't have to buy a 4 day at the same time you buy the camping pass; you just need to have both secured before you show up at the campground in June.

Definitely focus on the 4-day pass first.

We have done camping at Lawson and Mary E. the past three years and usually bought them well after buying our 4-day passes, which sell out very quickly. I think we even bought our Mary E. passes in May this past year.

However, we are looking forward to our very first Town Park this year as we finally hit the lottery!!!! Cheers

2016 will be my first time. I got a camping pass at Ilium. Do they bring in portable showers at that site? If not, what are the best options?

I haven't camped in Mary E since 2009. Back then, they did not have showers at the campground. However, the Highschool showers are available to use for a donation to the school's athletics program. The shuttle that takes you from the campground to the festival stops at the highschool. It's possible that things have changes since I last camped there, though.
