Saw Greensky last night in Santa Fe at the Skylight. Wow.  They killed it.  With this intense light show that was unnecessary, the music was extraordinary.  Everything we've seen at Bluegrass and then another layer of depth, seamless transitions in and out of genres but the instrumentation kept the flow.  Almost made me think they'll move to the late late night set which would be too late for me, but they clearly can command that stage anytime they want.

Among the MANY Festivarians at the Greensky concert last night in Fanta Se.  What a show - I'm guessing about 3 hours, after the really great warm-up band.  Pink Floyd's Time > Breathe was amazing.

Just to drive you a little crazier, I gotta tell you that this Santa Fe venue is really tiny - MAYBE 300 people - so we spent most of the concert within arms length of the guitarist and dobro players.  I was so happy I made the trip.

I'm for tonight's show with the Dave Rawlings Machine in St Paul and tomorrow night with Horseshoes and Hand Grenades in Madison for bands for next season at T-ride.

Stop it! I'm almost crying with jealousy now. You know I play Greensky you tube clips nearly every night? I think I've watched the Nightgrass gig maybe twenty times.

I think I might have the tiniest crush on Paul, just a little bit.

I cannot stand it, why do I live sooooooooo far away? I'm coming back to States in January for a week to west coast and where are they playing? Chicago! Ok, I'm getting me some lottery action this weekend. To infinity and beyond, I'm getting back to Telluride if it kills me

One of the most impressive performers I have seen in my lifetime. He puts his entire being into every performance! Saw him at Strawberry a few years back and with just him and his acoustic Guitar he captivated the audience! Any of his recordings are worth the price and he would be phenominal at TBF.

And a truly nice human being. He will be touring the US in May, I am quite sure he can fill some time into mid June, and head up to the Box Canyon! Pirate

Indeed! Male Vocalist of the Year.  Album of the Year.  New Artist of the Year.  Chris upset the CMA applecart last night.  And we had him on our stage how many years ago with the SteelDrivers?

His voice is a thumbprint, so unique and soothing almost. I could imagine some interesting sets at Tride with the House Band as well as Warren Haynes...ok move over!!!! We got this lineup all wrapped up. Could you imagine? GOOSEBUMP CITY!

The unique collaborations we are graced with is just one of my many favorites while at TBF....ohhhhhhhhhhh the possibilities!!!

Ferg we got this. LOL

Here's one outta left field:  Chris Issak.

I've seen him just kill it at Hardly Strictly, plus a few other places.  His show is VERY entertaining - he never takes himself too seriously and his enthusiasm is infectious.  Plus he's got a album (out tomorrow, but streaming on NPR's "First Listen" right now) to promote!
