Okay, now this is FOR REAL!!

Valley Floor victory for Telluride

Telluride has won the Valley Floor.

In a strongly worded 6-1 decision released Monday morning, the Colorado Supreme Court declared that Telluride has the ironclad constitutional right to condemn the 572-acre land outside its borders. It's a massive victory for the town and Telluriders who have fought to preserve the land.

And will there be camping in the fields as you are driving into Telluride like there was years ago?

That's a great question.  Some of my earliest memories of Telluride Bluegrass Festival are of camping in the Valley Floor parking lot.  Mill Creek was great camping, too.  I'd love to see those parking/camping options return.  The unobstructed view, the pedestrian access to Town, the grassy fields, that was good stuff.
