When it comes time to renew Alan Wasser's domain name and his web site hosting contract, he should - instead of renewing - migrate his web site's files to The Internet Archive "for free". The Archive provides the tools and the hosting services for managing these types of collections, laying out descriptive and media-rich HTML-encoded web pages, and editing and further refining them. Their Metadata Editor is very powerful. The Archive allows admins like me (and your dad) to achieve the look, feel, and multimedia layout we are seeking. This is The Archive's mission and they do it better than anyone else. There is no cost involved. It takes time and skill, and it helps if you've got web designer skills.
This is a win-win situation, imo. I put my tapes of live music on The Archive, and I created some new collections there myself. I did this about six or seven years ago, after having done virtually the same thing that you dad did here (by first creating and hosting my own dot-com web site).
My old tapes, my activism, and my broadcasting career date back over forty years, and I see your dad's dates back over fifty years. Good Job!!!
