Local luminaries attending that show included Andy Hall, Chris Pandolfi, and a red headed, Tennessee Volunteer hat wearing freak aka Bluegrass Dustin  Wink.

Oh my God!  Bluegrass Dustin is a fellow Vol? I knew I liked that guy!

Go Big Orange!!!

Oh, and I also really want to see the Jeff Austin Band.  Eric and Danny are two of my favorites!

Well, I got a lot of good answers for that question but I'll keep it nice.

Its a Rocky Top singing, orange and white overall wearing, college football loving Tennessee fan. Cheers

What is a VoL?

"Vol" refers to Volunteer.  As in The Tennesee Volunteers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennessee_Volunteers

I may be wrong, but although "Volunteer" now refers to a major collegiate sports team, it also refers to the Volunteers who signed up to fight in the Civil War for the confederacy.

Nice review. Agree 100%.. And yeah, that Rag Doll was sick!

Another reason to bring JAB to Tride is so Danny can play banjo with REK during the bluegrass portion of his Thursday night closing set.

Thanks. Politics aside (and I don't understand any of it), they are a perfect fit for TBF, especially nightgrass.  I say everybody get over it, let bygones be bygones and give them a Firstgrass, MainStage, Elks Park, Nighgrass quadfecta and call it a day.

My wife's reported The Fox was great as well. They did Rag Doll again. I think it may have been a pleasant surprise for the band as well, what happened. I heard they did 3 Barnes tunes at the Fox adding Falling Down.

In any case, if they play anywhere near me, I'm there. We should say hey sometime.

You may also refer to the movie, "The Blind Side". I believe the team colors were refered to as,"that gawdy orange".
