I'd like to throw in a suggestion!  Look up Robert Earl Keen.  He's awesome!!  Try his "Best" album to hear the fan favorites.  The song "Feeling Good Again" is my favorite tune of all time.

Done! I love it!

I just read (from ibma.org) an article about Robert Earl Keen's bluegrass record coming out February 10.

In the article he was asked if he's doing bluegrass festivals and his reply "MerleFest and Telluride"

I can't remember how long ago he was at the TBGF, but it will be nice to have him back...

here's a listen to the music.

ibma also has a nice article on Ralph Stanley  http://issuu.com/ibma/docs/february_ib-2015/5?e=5237038/11255913

Great find, Ratcub!  Thumbs Up

Actually the article quote was a little more emphatic, "We're playing Telluride!".  :)

Cats out of the bag, Planet- might as well spill the rest before the artists do.

I was aware that the road actually does go on forever, and that in fact the party, this party - our party - never ends, but I'll be really glad to hear him tell me/sing me that himself!  Cheers

I confess, another one I had never heard of but I've been playing tracks all day and he is growing on me...not captured my heart like Greensky but he is good. This is going to be so much fun!

Love REK!  Seen him many times and am really looking forward to his new "bluegrass" CD.

FOr the uninitiated, here are the two songs that made me a fan:
"Something that I Do" (from The Rose Hotel) I kinda like doing nuthin', It's something that I do...
"I Gotta Go" (from Ready for Confetti)
