Hey Swander! Missed Bluegrass this year, too...was too heartbroken to even read the forum for months. Got lucky enough to get to Blues & Brews this past weekend instead. Hope all's well and we'll see you in 2015!

Del is so genuine, but his voice is so real. And his band is one of the best. Jason Carter has to be the best bluegrass fiddler right now. I love StuBob and will go out of my way to hear him, but Jason fits Del's group perfectly. If you haven't heard Robbie's first CD, you should check it out. Great playing and his backup group is pretty good too.

I hope they can make it to Telluride in one form or another in 2015, and bring along Keller! Maybe we can be in adjacent gondolas up to Mountain Village.

 So, there are so many new CDs out right now. What a great world we live in!

Jerry Douglas and the Earls Of Lancaster, John Cowan has a new one out, Frank Solivan and the DK, Tim O has one as well. Music to forget I am actually going to file the pile!

I've been listening to Dead Winter Carpenters quite a bit recently. And The Tallest Man on Earth. Love them both.

Female solo artists are some of my favorite listening. Jenny Lewis "The Voyager" is the object of my current girl crush. I have watched her itunes festival several times. Courtney Barnett 2013 release is still playing on my ipod and in my head. She is young witty and her lyrics make me laugh. On the darker side, Angel Olsen. Taarka seems like a natural fit to our fun.

After seeing them for  what I believe is the 8th time, DWC has jumped into my five favorite touring bands. Those guys can jam! I'd love to see them at Telluride next summer!
