I'm with Landshark . Bring more traditional bluegrass . Dolly P. would be EPIC!! That bluegrass album she put out awhile ago was great . I could also listen to string bands all day long . IS IT JUNE YET!!

Thumbs Up Yep Ross she is like Johnny Cash , only Dolly. Before I saw Johnny Cash at TBF I thought he would have been not my style. BUT THEN! BIGGER THEN LIFE he started with a swing tune and started to rock the house, I mean valley and every song he sang was epic and chill binding. Bigger then life !

Dolly, she would be the same and her Bluegrass is filled with shrill and goosebumps! I think I made up a few words but, yeah, Dolly Medal

I felt the same way about Lyle Lovett . Never really listened to his music but was blown away when he started playing with ALL THOSE MUSICIANS on stage . He was mesmerizing. He looked right a me when I took a photo of him . Kinda of a creepy look.  Dolly would do that to me in a second . Can you imagine that voice echoing through the mountains ?? Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Any form of Warren Haynes would be extremely welcome.  I'd love to see Hayes Carll get a slot, I think he'd go over really well.

I'd like to see either SCI and RRE come back ... along with GSBS who I give high marks for most improved on the "jamgrass" circuit this past year.  Next to Windwood, Greensky was my favorite this past year & also saw them + RRE at Red Rocks the day before Warren Haynes w/ Colorado Symphony which made for a real nice two day run.  Would love to see Warren + Symphony too.

Major point being:  I think it's important that TBF keeps that jamgrass spoke(s) of the overall wheel solid and fresh each year.

Another interesting injection to the line up would be a set that included, one older epic performer and one very young on his or her way up performer. Old and new, each year different.

Battle of the Bands. Girl bands against Boy Bands and all together at the end. That would be cool! Medal

Today I was listening to David Grisman, The Steel Drivers and The Dusters. All of them would be outstanding!
David Bromberg and Willie would be great!

I saw Willie way in the day at TBF. What year was that???? :burn

Bare Naked Ladies rocked it and I would love another. I love traditional Bluegrass but it is so flippin great when we get jolted with surprise. Medal

So fun, I want to be a mouse in Brian or Fergs pocket for a fest Planning day...fun

The usual suspects, but Shovels & Rope is a group that's gathering steam and attention. I've seen them several times and they closed out a festival where I volunteer and they are crowd pleasers. Just two people, a husband and wife, but they make a whole lot of music!
