First I would like to Thank Planet Bluegrass for making this process happen at midnight! We festivarians get way more sleep and are so much better behaved when we don't have to stay up all night.

In terms of the hand out process, I might suggest that you make the line move so you can control how many tickets each person gets.(instead of PB walking down the line and chaos hands reaching in). People were coming back to camp with 5-10 tickets each (from rolling back/cheating in the line). Many persons did not get tickets at all (although standing in line).

Thanks again for doing this at midnight. I think this is a way better choice than 2 and 3 am.
Cheers until next year!

I agree that something needs to be done about the "numbers line".  MANY people Friday night did not get numbers for the next day after the numbers guy was swamped chaotically...
Having people get a punch on their wristband when going through some portal may work...

going through some portal

I decided to do a Google Image search on 'portal', and thought I'd put this here.

Because no matter how you feel about the line, and the numbers, who doesn't like cake?

And portals?

Now back to your very serious discussion, already in progress
