Feeling a bit torn...Does Yonder really like having marshmallows thrown at them as they're making magic, or are they being incredibly good sports?

I guess they would have to answer but they have to be the greatest sports at Tride. After multiple shots to the face and trying to play music, I can't imagine not being agitated. During one break between songs, if you can be politely pissed off then that's what it sounded like.
Very interesting question.

The only thing that should be thrown at the stage is applause. Thumbs Up

An occasional flower at the feet of the performer is also acceptable. Flower

I thought based on a few comments by the band they were getting pretty annoyed. I know I was getting annoyed being pelted with them. And then some people started throwing them again during the start of Greensky's set. Planet, PLEASE do something to stop the marshmallows. They really do suck!

I skipped the Yonder main stage set, but stepped on a melting marshmallow during Andrew Bird's set and was a little surprised people are still doing this crap. Annoying the band is bad enough, but I can only imagine how much of a mess the cleanup is.

If they ask the crowd to stop, they probably would. Seems Yonder enjoys it. last year they stuck a bucket up on stage and asked folks to aim there. It's always smart to wear a hat for their main stage show.

no mas. they stay positive when it happens, but it's gotta be an awful experience for them. they're playing along and don't want to be a buzz kill, but seriously, think about it...

I hate them.  I took one in the eye that someone has balled up like an icy snowball.

I don't mind the marshmallows. It's the glow sticks and the beach balls that annoy me.

I don't mind them either; for the crowd. Throwing them onstage tho, super uncool.

Sorry, completely disagree with you. How can you possibly regulate in the crowd? Is it going to take One of those stupid marshmallow throwers to pop a little kid in the eye one day for them to recognize the potential dangers?

Throwing anything is off the charts rude to the band. It distracts and is just a pain to pick up. Yonder set stupidity.
