Hello all,

My lady has invited me finally to attend the fest,(by default), and we are flying from Montana, so I won't be able to arrive with fresh steaks
I need plenty of good grillin items for Warner Field campground.  Is there a butcher in town with the goods?

Thanks to all and as any Montana BBQ, please stop by and say hello and grab a snack and a beer!

Way to go COLORADO!! Looking  forward to your hospitality & good times!

Do a search for Telluride grocery.

There's two grocery stores in town and what I call "Oprah's grocery store" up in Mountain Village at the far end of the gondola(s) near the parking garage.  You may find something in town, but the "goods" are up there.

You'll need to be prepared for sticker shock...

But, you'll also want to check out the farmer's market in town on Friday.  Growers and ranchers come from the general vicinity, you can find fresh greens, baked goods, beef, pork, chicken, venison, elk...bring cash for this one.

One other thing, check out the rules for grilling on Warner, as no charcoal grills are allowed, see camping rules HERE

There's a real grass fed beef producer at the Farmers Market on Fridays. Excellent beef, be prepared for  the sticker shock mentioned previously.

Excellent! Another Montanan coming down for Telluride! Make sure to stop by Run a Muck in Town Park to introduce yourself. We're not as well represented as one might think!

But Rick and Kerri won't be attending this year. So it's Michael, Ellen, Brodie, Alex (my brother who's making the trek with me this year), me and now Out Thar. That may be about half the state, but I want the other half there, too!

Not that I know of, but a Warner Field ticket gets you access to Town Park.

Telluride Bluegrass Fest -- 2011

Recommend stopping in Montrose at the City Market to get some steaks to avoid the T-ride/Mountain Village sticker shock (just put on ice in a cooler (also available at City Market)).  They have a decent selection at the deli/butcher counter.
