Thanks!

It is the early wednesday show. It's free up at the mountain village from about 4-8pm.
{Last year we got Steep Canyon Rangers and Lake street dive---hopefully we'll get some similiar awesomeness to kick it off this year}

Dang! SCR & Lake St. Dive! That's a pretty great way to start off the whole shebang!

That was last years. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it over there, but I heard their sets were wonderful!

Hi!
Can anybody tell me where the Firstgrass show is held in Mtn Village?

Outside in Sunset Plaza, next to the top terminal of the "chondola" (smaller gondola) and Poachers.

In all likelihood, you'll now be able to take your drink from any of the nearby establishments directly into the venue.  There has always been the allowance of open container, but previously you had to byo.  I find it interesting that they're so liberal in the TMV with alcohol, yet banned retail pot sales.

Is it mid May yet?? I can't wait to see who might open this Fest up for us.  Perhaps the stringdusters since they are playing Palisade a few days before (just 2.5 hrs away)?

Didn't a band called Roscoe Bandana also play at Firstgrass last year? Were they not somehow connected with Mumford? Firstgrass is a nice way to get some exposure for younger bands, so I'm guessing you may see Lone Bellow or Front Country up there. Maybe even Frank Solivan.

Yes, last year there were three bands that played Firstgrass... Roscoe Bandana > Lake Street Dive > Steep Canyon Rangers

 Planet Bluegrass lists the line-up for the Main Stage over the past forty years ...

  http://www.bluegrass.com/telluride/archive/lineups.html

 would be cool if they posted line-ups for Elks Park, FirstGrass, NightGrass etc over the years ...
