there has been a booth with bluegrass instruments for sale each of the times i've been to telluride.  not sure about the trading or selling part though.

That is the sponsor's tent and it is for sponsors to show and sell their instruments.

Telluride Music Company in town has a nice selection of acoustic instruments, strings, and stuff.
