Hello All,

I am new to your forum and could use some advice.
Cyndi And I will be taking our two year old twins to the TBF this year.
We need some feedback on where we can park our 36 Foot coach.
We have not been to this area of Colorado before and are quite excited to spend a little time exploring, so any RV friendly pointers would be grately (mispelled on purpose) appreciated.
I read the post with regards to the childrens activities and cant wait to get the twins faces painted. We still need tickets so I will read about you lottery next but again any pointers are welcome.  It will be the Twins first Music festival of what will be many.We will be sure to bring earplugs for the little ones. We cant wait to see you all at the music!

Thanks in advance,
Steve Cyndi

Well unfortunately your 36 foot coach won't be eligible for the Town Park lottery; too large. EEK!

You might want to look into the other camping/RV areas that go on sale Dec. 5.

I do hope you can join in on the fun regardless. Thumbs Up

Hey! Mi Forum, Su Forum!

Welcome Aboard the Telluride Express!

Looks like 2008 will be the "Year of Twins" for the festival. Mainahhh is a twin and her sister has plans to join us next year, and now your two youngin's. Ahh, twins of all ages!

MotorCoach huh... Yup, Dec. 5th is the day for you. Be ready to be a quick draw McGraw though, those RV tickets go fast!

Don't be afraid to ask any question and kudos on the research you've obviously done already!  Thumbs Up

I haven't heard yet if the RV lot (Coonskin) will go on sale on december 5th. We usually have to renegotiate with the owners of said lot, and work out a deal.

That said, with all the construction going on in Telluride, the lot has been a bit smaller than usual in recent years. Keep an ear here, and on the website as to specifics for the Coonskin lot.

When you do see some information about them, be ready for the on sale. There are usually less than 20 spots available, and they go FAST.

The bad news is that we won't have room for an RV that large anywhere else. Frown The town of Telluride just doesn't have the space for very many big RV's.

Let me know if I can help any more. Cheers

Hello my friends,

We stayed in Zion National Park for Turkey day,
The place is Awesome to say the very least.
Were excited to hit the road for Telluride and wanted to know if there was any new information available about the RV parking that will be available.
If any one has some info please pass it on.

Thank you Kindly

Telluride Bluegrass Fest -- 2011

Steve, etc (Lakehopper),

Sorry to hear you didn't get an RV spot near the venue.  Do you tow a vehicle behind for local commuting?  If so, there are campgrounds in .. Ridgeway, i believe (closer than Ouray from Telluride), and a really nice KOA in Ouray (40-45 minute commute).  I've stayed at the KOA for last 2 festivals .. wasn't bad at all (tho the drive back can be a bit tiring after a day and evening of Festivating .. so this year .. got a condo in Mtn Village Wink ).

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Hello again,

Thanks for the campground info but we do not tow a vehicle so this would be tricky.
but i think we will visit these camps in the future
And as for the condo tip were gonna take it I plan on booking something in the morning.
I thought about passing on the festival untill next year but something and a number off people make me think that would be a bad idea.

peace my friends!
