I want to clean up the forum a little bit.

Unfortunately, I don't have any way to pick a few threads and delete everything else.

So...if there is a thread in the nether regions of the back pages of any of the boards that you think is worth keeping, go make a post in it. From now on...all threads that are not posted in within 90 days will be deleted automatically (sticky topics are excluded).

This is true for all boards...including the tapers board.

Don't forget about the Wildflower Pavilion Series on Planet Bluegrass this fall, and next spring. If we don't see you there...have a great winter. Wave

Cheers

Dustin

Just curious when the 90 day rule will go into effect. huh
How much time do we have to browse old threads to see if we want to keep them? Cheers

I figured I would give a week or so, since most people are not frequenting the forum all too much right now.

How's that sound?

In the "Shop" area.... all the posts in "Snapshots" should be saved from the 90 day limit. Cheers

Got DukTape?

I think the snapshots should be saved.

I wish there was someway to save the show trader list?  Would it be possible to put a one folder for each of the trade sites (co-tapers, tapers.org etc.) and just let replies to that folder list the shows that are available there?  Maybe just a go look here message.  I guess most of us who regularly download stuff know where to look, so it's probably not a big deal, but sometimes we seem to get a lot of "where can I find this?" type questions.  Just a thought before I've had my coffee.

My personal opinion is also that DukTape man should stay.   Cheers

I think I figured out a way to have the tapers board, and the snap shots board be excluded from the new rule.

Don't most links to sets disappear after a while, though? huh
John R? Looking

I could also make the quota 120 days for deletion, if we think that is better.

Oh, you CND....  Medal

archive.org .... is just that, an archive, forever and ever, amen, or until the power goes out, which ever comes first.

etree.org is an offshoot of the above, if Im not mistaken but I'm not sure how tapers.org works (seeders/leachers only?)

Ahh, kids.....  Tapers

Yes, while the current DTM threat level is low we should all be on alert for any nefarious activity and use the DTM thread to communicate any potential evil doers or happenings.

All it takes to save a thread from deletion is to post in it. Thumbs Up
Any thread that doesn't have any activity goes away, so if there's any threads you want to keep alive, make a post in it! Cheers
