GIPSY MOON!!!!! They sold out both Wednesday and Sunday nights this year at Fly me to the Moon, competing with the kick off show and Punch Bros, Vince Herman's 2 sons are in the band - what better way to begin passing the torch!! Okay, maybe not the main stage, yet, but at least a nightgrass show next year!!!! Check them out!!!!

And their gondola sessions....

Came into post Black Lillies - was actually fluffing them in the thread for last years fest as they played a show in Lyons.

Anyone going to be at the upcoming FOCO or Denver shows - both week night shows but I don't miss them when they come through town.

I think Justin Townes Earle would be a solid addition.

I agree with Justin Townes Earl. That man writes some fantastic songs.

Anyone remember Robert Plant mentioning that John Paul Jones has wanted to play for years? Why not make that happen. He's already friends with a lot of bluegrass musicians. Have him put together a band and show up for the event!

I won't rest until Pokey LaFarge plays TBF.  Thumbs Up The new sextet configuration really works and they are a perfect fit.

I'll 2nd Grant Gordy in any of his incarnations and configurations, especially if it's with Jake Schepps Expedition Quartet.

How about Sleepy LaBeef, if he can survive the altitude. A true legend, and if he brings Kenny Vaughan with him, so much the better.

I have been enjoying The Dunwells and The Abrams Brothers lately.

I think they would fall under the catergory of new, and it would be fun to have them in paradise (I mean, Telluride).

I have traveled many miles, and gone to festivals that I might not have attended, just to see The Band of Heathens play.  The two main guys (there used to be three lead singers) are extremely talented songwriters AND players.

Saw these guys at Strawberry last year and they were awesome. Really cool that immediately after the show they were selling jump drives with their entire set including interviews with the band and photos taken by their crew! Pretty cool.

Son Volt

Saw them a couple of weeks ago and thought it was the best concert I'd seen all year.
