My daughter and I are so stoked to travel across the country for our first TBF. We didn't hit the lottery for Town Park or Warner Field but will make a comfy abode at the Lawson Hill campground. A couple questions:
  1) We'll be getting to Telluride around 8 pm Tuesday. I see the ticket office is closed, so do we just show our bar-scan printouts to get in?
  2) I assume we can't bring our car up to the ballfield to unload; is it a short shuttle/walk from the parking area to the ballfield?

Thanks for the help.

I don't believe you will need your camping pass until Wednesday or possibly even Thursday. Not 100% on that one, though. Our group always arrives Thursday morning so we don't really have to deal with all of those issues.

As far as unloading goes, there is a designated area next to the field with about 20 parking spaces where you are allowed to quickly unload your belongings. After everything is unloaded, you drive up to the top of the hill and park your car which is where it will stay until you leave.

Lawson Hill is a blast, and it's just a quick shuttle ride to town with buses coming by every 15 minutes or so.

Have a great time! Maybe we'll see you there! Just look for the inflatable banjos!  Cheers
