Ive searched, and can't find the list someone put out last year of everything to bring
for town park camping. It was quite extensive.
Anyone?

Does anyone remember the cost for the showers near TP/WF?  I know the answer is in here somewhere but I figure I'd find it easier this way.  Thanks in advance for the help. Cheers

Either the -W- bathroom is on a separate system or Debbie and I have vastly different definitions of the word HOT....
I'd say it is a bunch of quarters to get "tolerable" and it is free to get "frigid" ice water.

All depends on the timing... You want to check the sink faucets first.. No hot there, no hot in showers...

Debbie for some reason I keep thinking it is $4.00.  Probably the info is posted somewhere on a site for Tride parks and rec. Maybe I can find it and update.  Just bring lots or quarters!  I make sure I  have all my stuff in the shower, towel close by, and I put in all the but last quarter and when I finally get in I put in the last quarter which starts the hot water.  That way I'm not running out looking for shampoo or razor or whatever I might have forgotten, and get the full 5 minutes.  I usually finish before the water runs out, so it is enough time even with my long hair.  Of course I will never turn down an offer to go shower in someone's condo!

I know the High School showers are $4. I'm pretty sure the TP showers are cheaper, I keep thinking $3 for some reason, so I think Debbie's right. But yeah, *hot* is the exaggeration of the year. "Just tolerable" might be a better descriptor.  :)

I don't ever remember just tolerable...Maybe you like really hot water- I do like hot but not scalding.. BUT, I do tend to do most of my showering before the crowds come.. Also, if I shower during the 4 days of fest- I tend to do in the very middle of the day probably when every one is listening to someone

I think last year the Town Park showers were $3.  I thought the showers were pretty hot last year, although I haven't yet mastered the art of showering with the 5 minutes of time they give you before the water turns to ice.  I indulged in a shower at the high school one day ($4 sounds right?) because you get UNLIMITED hot water.  Can't tell you how awesome it was to have time to really get clean.  I'm a night-time shower-er usually, though, when the high school isn't available, so I'll just have to start practicing those 5-minute showers starting now.  Wink

Wave Last year the TP showers were 12 quarters. Most of the time they were plenty warm. The shower I was taking when the Goddess Walk ended last year was especially hot...just sayin'.  Flower

I've only used the high school showers once and it was a long time ago- like 18 years or so.. I remember it reminded me of high school gym class and no privacy whatsoever- Has it changed? Are there stalls now?

Debbie - There are stalls now for most of the showers with curtains, but it's a little tricky getting changed back into your clothes, since you put those over in the locker room.  A couple of the showers are open, but if you wait for one with a curtain, I think the modesty factor is about the same as the Town Park showers.
