One last thing,

One thing I learned from last year's festival is that people get TOUCHYYYYY when you crack a joke about Fogerty or Hornsby. I apologize for the offense, but it's all in good fun people!

Regardless of whether they "saved" money last year by having fewer high-profile acts, the point still stands that for the price of one Mumford & Sons, you can have several very good bands (even better than Mumford & Sons) that have a much lower price tag.  People generally don't go to Telluride to see the flavor of the week.

Fogerty is legendary, but when he isn't playing Telluride he's traveling the country stopping in whichever casino will have him..

The very first listing under those past events is the Arizona State Fair. 2nd is AVA amphitheater which, if you click the link, is actually a casino in Arizona. He played at some vineyards, the Moondance Jam (you'll just have to google that one. It's worth it), Telluride, an amphitheater in Utah, another vineyard in Washington, and another casino in Washington. The rest of his shows were either in Canada or overseas. So yes, really.

This whole thread has nothing to do with Fogerty so this is my last comment on the matter of the scarf man. Hope all you can travel out to the Arizona State fair to see him next year.  LOL

Well, I think even Neil Youg would addmitt that the "Glory Days" have passed for him too. Love Neil and Joohn Fogerty! Cheers

Let me clarify,

Fogerty is legendary, but when he isn't playing Telluride he's traveling the country stopping in whichever casino will have him. Just because you've been around a long time doesn't mean you demand a high price tag. You guys act like Neil Young played last year or something. Sorry to offend, but the glory days have passed for Fogerty. Either way, like I originally said, he was a blast live because he's a great entertainer. With that said, it was just a thought, and I'll stick to it.

The AZ state fair is actually a pretty big event, and most of the artists on the lineup are people you have probably heard of.
