We received quite a few more entries than ever before. With entries coming from all 50 states and 8 foreign countries.  EEK!

Right, "quite a few more entries than ever before."  Who was it that was speculating that the past couple of years' demand was due to certain bands or lineup or whatnot?  Well, nope - social media has expanded the popularity of many things, and not always in a good way.

With the inclusion of Warner Field into the lottery for the first time, "more entries than ever before" is to be expected.

Question to the group: Did anyone's confirmation number start with a 3, 4 or above?

Let's hope everyone remembers this year's last-minute ticket dump, as well.  I have a feeling ticket hoarding artificially inflated demand, which hurt everyone.  I know that wasn't all of it, but it was a problem.

I got Warner Field.  If I remember right, those guys couldn't get into their camping spots until a few days after Town Park opened.  If I wanted to come down early, would I be able to set up with my Steamboat Too peeps until Warner Field opens?

It is unfortunate, but no. Warner Field does open later than Town Park, and that date usually depends on scheduled ball games on Warner Field by the Town of Telluride.

You can still stay in T'ride, or camp outside of town, and come in to visit until Warner Field officially opens.  Thumbs Up

We just finished sending the last notification emails.  So you should now know whether we were able to fill your lottery entry.

Good luck, everyone.

Ah.  Okay.  That should be fine in the end.  If I can't find a place to stay or camp, I'll just drive down later.  That would probably be better for getting at least *some* work done that week, anyway!  :)
