Railroad Earth

Pert Near Sandstone

Brown Chicken Brown Cow Stringband

Carolina Chocolate Drops

I'm quite familiar with Chocolate Drops (old timey) and RRE (I guess I'd call them speedgrass) .  How would you classify Pert Near and BCBC?

I guess I wouldn't consider RRE speedgrass, however Pert Near and BCBC are probably closer than RRE to speedgrass.

I'm the worst at defining genre, it's all good to me.

I'm not too familiar with BCBC, but here are a few of my favorite Pert Near songs (the third is a cover of "I am the Walrus"

I'm back to vote for the Dusters again. They had one of the best shows I saw this year at Targhee. Simply phenomenal. Especially if they got a night grass show.

Here's a video I found.. (let's see if I can make this work, lol)

Alabama Shakes

I can support this!  I'm not sure what their singer's name is, but she's got some pipes.

The Wandering is a cool little project from Luther Dickinson.  Mellower and rootsier than his work with North Miss Allstars. The real stars are the strong singers. Would fit nicely at TBF!

These guys need to play!  They've done Blues Fest.  I just love the blues-fiddle.
