Pert Near Sandstone is coming out with a new album this summer and Telluride would be a great way for them to promote it!
That would be a killer nightgrass show, too!

It never occurred to me how much Pat Flynn looked like Tim Curry.   If they reunite, I want a ripping "Time Warp->Sweet Transvestite" to celebrate the event!

Hmmmm...And if Black Prairie played, Sarah Jarosz could join them for their version of "Queen of the Silver Dollar."  Hmmmmmmmm...

here is a couple tweets from Bela earlier in the month.
Sounds like a good choice to bring to our fest.

Béla Fleck ‏@belafleckbanjo
Hey friends, how's the new year unfolding for you? I'm having a great time in Mexico doing three duo gigs with Abigail Washburn.

Béla Fleck ‏@belafleckbanjo
We intend to start doing a lot more of that later in the year. It's sweet to get to play music with my wife! Best to all you'all, Bela

sounds like a telluride act to me!!!!! Cheers

I understand that David Byrne was on Letterman last night with St. Vincent.  Didn't see it, but their new album is fantastic.

Which got me to thinking (ouch) that they are out on tour, have a TBF connection (as my ALL TIME favorite TBF performance!) AND certainly qualify as artists who, as Ferg laid out, "could fill Red Rocks".

Could it be?

Go on, Ferg, make my day!  (I typed that Eastwood style but without talking to an empty chair!)

I have a good feeling about a nice warm up set.
