 And the high school showers have LOTS Of hot water!!! A shower there is money well spent.. though with so many hot showers going in one place (a locker room but the showes are all private) it is like a sauna in there.

okay.  basic, basic, super basic question from a town park and telluride bluegrass newbie virgin:

i will be there sat, at 8 am, in my camper to stake a claim.  is there a designated vehicle area or just mere suggestions on best places to park a camper?  i'm clueless as to what i'm in for . . .

I need some advice. I'm not able to get down to the Festival until Wednesday AM... Our other friends who will be camping with us will be arriving Tuesday AM.  I'm trying to decide if I should go through the trouble to drive down from Eagle County tonight to throw a tarp down in the AM. Most of our Camp Bitch friends got shut out, so there will only be two families representing Camp Bitch this year. We do have a couple of large family size tents, and will have kiddos in tow, so it would be nice if we can get enough space together. Would anyone be willing to hold a spot for us, or would I be better off going down tonight to stake my claim?

Hey all! Just got into town and am camping at the Matterhorn campground. Does anyone know if there are any modes of public transportation to/from the campground into town and/or Mountain Village?  Tryna stay safe on the roads after a little  Cheers

I am so excited to plan my trip to Telluride for the bluegrass festival that I'm starting now!!!  I would like to enter the lottery for Town Park camping, but can't find the dates of the lottery.  Can anyone help me?
