Take 2 on posting this. My ability to utilize inserting quotes is a failure. :burn

Anyways, thanks Skubes and Pass Port! The advice is great and I'm looking forward to getting to Telluride soon! I appreciate the help and since we'll be getting there Saturday afternoon we'll take a walkabout and be sure to introduce ourselves to our potential neighbors. See you there! Cheers

Hi T.T.
I hope I'm posting a question the right way. I keep needing retraining.
I may have gone overboard, and hit big in the lottery for the Nightgrass. I have tickets coming for Yonder Wednesday, Greensky Thursday, and Red Knuckles on Saturday. I figured I would sell some, but hell I want to be at all of those! On top of music in the open from morning to night, is it physically feasible to drag one's butt to all of it? What might be some strategies to maximize energy? I'm in Town Park, but I've never been to TBGF before. Been to DelFest and Rocky Grass, which are a lot more low key than this and I've been dead weight by Sunday.
Thanks, I am so excited.

You can absolutely do this if you want (but I can't guaranty you won't be dead weight once it's all over  Cheers!)  First of all, Wednesday is not as late a night as the other Night Grass shows.  The show starts around 9 as opposed to 11 and ends much earlier.  What is harder is to go see every set on the main stage and all of Night Grass.  My personal routine is about 5 of the main stage or Elks Park shows plus Night Grass each day.  The fun of it is I can never predict exactly what 5 it will be until the wind takes me there!  Telluride is really fun, stimulating and a bit grueling.  Hot days, cold nights, so much music with altitude adjustment to boot.  For me, the recipe to success is sun screen, warm clothes and lots of hydration (beer, water, beer, water repeat).  If you are staying in Town Park, the great news is you can get out of the sun when you want for a break at your camp site.  If you're like me, you'll find that those breaks are half the fun too.  One last piece of encouragement-you will have no trouble selling your Greensky or Red Knuckles Night Grass tickets at the last minute if you decide to call it an early night.  Have fun!

Easy! The excitement is high and the adrenaline will flow.

If you decide to sell your tickets, remember the absolute rule is no upselling, sell for face value only. Share the love, that is your profit.

Yup, I would not upsell. I like JSRud's thought on being selective about which performances to catch in the day, then go hard at nightgrass, but we'll see. Maybe I'll trade tix for some guitar lessons...

Ah, good man. Nightgrass is so great. Full sets, intimate space, I have been infatuated with a certain band since my first Nightgrass. Actually, I haven't had a bad Nightgrass experience ever. The close out with Punch at Sheridan my very first year ( when I was already exhausted) was one of those transport me to the moon experiences. Enjoy!

Vehicle passes are very scarce and without a TP pass you would not be able to use one. We like to see the vehicle passes go to those that really need to have the vehicle on site  for health reasons. There will be plenty of parking in Car Henge and you will have plenty of time to unload your vehicle, park it, and walk back to WARNER field and enjoy the party! Cheers

Not going to happen!!
If you get there early enough you can have your van parked in the street just outside Town Park but most likely you will have to park at the other edge of town or in Mountain Village.
You MUST have a Town Park camping pass to even have a Town Park Vehicle pass, and if you're not sleeping in it the campers in Town Park can get very aggressive.
There are only 30 vehicle passes sold for the 1200 campers in Town Park, so you can see how they should be used by those that literally need them, not just a convenience to have nearby. That is not the festivarian way.
We encourage people that have the ability to camp in a tent to sell their vehicle passes to those that have a physical need for them.
You can get by just fine without your vehicle for four or five days. Thumbs Up
