Newbie Question!  I am looking, late in the game, to park my little camper at either Mary E or Lawson.  I've found someone selling passes for both.

Opinions on what is the better scene?

I know this is subjective and we are all here for the bluegrass love . . .

thanks!

If you want to park a camper, you'll have to go with Illium. You'll also need a Illium vehicle pass. Lawsom doesn't allow campers.

hmmmm, saw a posting for Lawson Hill RV Campground.  not at all familiar with the set-up though, so maybe i've got it wrong.  the passes, and camping, and vehicle stuff is confusing.

Camping passes and vehicle passes are separate and distinct.
If you don't have a camping pass then a vehicle pass is useless, as you need both.
If you don't have a 4 day pass (single day passes don't count) you can only camp at Lawson Hill.
Each person needs to have both festival passes and camping passes.
Each vehicle needs a pass (anything with a license plate is considered a vehicle) but there is free parking available if you're not camping in your vehicle.
 Cheers

Ok - Let's tick this off again just for good measure.  Talk welcome

For Lawson Hill Campground (Ball Field Camping)
No Camping Vehicles are allowed at Lawson Hill Campground
Single Day tickets + Lawson Hill Camping Pass
OR
4-Day Fest Pass + Lawson Hill Camping Pass

For Mary E. Illium Campground
No Single Day Tickets are allowed with Illium Camping Pass
4-Day Fest Pass + Illium Camping Pass

If you plan to camp in a vehicle, pop-up trailer or RV you will need an additional "Illium Vehicle Pass" to complete your ticket collection for Mary E. Illium Campground.

For High School Campground (Field at School) NO Alcohol or Tobacco
No Camping Vehicles are allowed at High School Campground
4-Day Fest Pass + High School Camping Pass

FESTIVVVAAALLL!!!

Any Questions? Please, feel free to ask!   :hug
