For those that didn't catch on to the joke........

The Forum Ratings were changed in JEST, and I posted in JEST! 
I was singled out by name...  and responded.

For those that care... I love Indie Rock!

I believe in my heart of hearts that the joke went on one day longer that expected because of the snafoo with the Nightgrass tickets.

Obviously some of you didn't get it because my festivarian rating went from a 15 to a 9, which was fine with me, it just made me laugh harder  and was worth every screamin' meanie red post I made!

I got it Hope, I was enjoying it in fact. of course I may be glad Dustin changed it back as I'll soon join your ranks. although, something tells me this isn't the last we're going to see of Mr. Bluegrass Dustin and his name changing ways

I'll be seeing them in Denver on the 22nd. I can't wait it'll be awsome to see them do a whole show, I've only seen them do a short festival set at Telluride last year. I love all thier Music and the more I listen the Crane Wife the better it gets. I'm dying to The Mariner's Revenge Song too.

The mariner's revenge song was definitely a highlight of the show, as well as sixteen military wives.

I didn't quite get that your were joking at first Hope... but even if you weren't, people are entitled to their opinions and having one is certainly not a smite-worthy offense.  I thought it was funny!  And I've been listening to some music that I forgot I had as a result so THANKS!!   

For a while there my rating was all over the place.  What are you gonna do?  Here's some indie love...

I have got to honest here and say I thought they were alittle to POP fer me. Am I off on that. Whats their best song? I will open my ears and give another listen.

I would try the Picaresque album, lots of good songs on there.  Also Shanty for Arethusa and The Chimbley Sweep from Her Majesty. I know there a couple more that are escaping me at the moment, but the newest album is definitely a bit different than the older albums.  Hope you find something to enjoy.

P.S.  Don't watch those ratings too closely.  For a while it was giving me heartburn... go home with one number, next morning... almost all points gone!  Stuff like that...  Life's too short to worry about a point here and there.
