I agree with FaceOnMars... No need for even more institutional bias. 

I'm in the "seeing as everybody had a good three weeks to purchase, I don't really see the problem" camp.  It's not like tickets sold out in two hours, and you simply didn't have an opportunity to get tickets.  It seems to me we're in search of a solution in need of a problem.
I'm just guessing here, but the perfect storm may be passing by. There are a lot of festivals, and a lot of folks out exploring them. Next year, I bet tickets don't go so fast.

 I heard you can catch telluremia if you drink the water there And there's been undocumented  cases of herpagoneritis going around there as well.  Wink

You are almost guaranteed to catch Telluremia and there is no cure.... and you  get reinfected worse each year that you go!

I actually thought of an idea for this... I was at the match play tournament in Tucson this past week, and they allow you to buy discounted tickets to the next year's event as long as you buy them before you leave.  If each person wearing a wristband were allowed to purchase an identical ticket to the next year's event, we can be a little more confident that the people purchasing these tickets actually intend to attend the event.
