I can't wait to see the size of the cheese tent this year. For all the whining that's goin on here, there won't be any room for tarps.

LOL I must have hurt Mandhoe's feelings.

hahahahaa!!

Sorry, but you sound like a jerk... And the insults and the constant smite towards me shows your immaturity.

And a  call-out to Ferg on your second post here ever....????

Thanks for the "holier-than-tho" attitude around the Holiday Season.

Go back to PT where you would most likely fit in better with the snot-nose little twirps.

What? LOL. Where did that come from? I made one response to your post, and you later apologized(Now your coming at me on a holiday) .  My other posts have been in response to Shattered Arm; which do not contain hostility in any form whatsoever.  It's Christmas Eve day dude. You should display love, not bipolarism! It's ok Broey Tribbiani!

I agree brother!  Believe there is just some miscommunication going on.  People are passionate about their musical tastes and this Festival. That's a good thing! Let's leave the name calling to the children though tycho_brahe, so we can continue having a healthy discussion. Happy Holidays!

Give it a rest!!

Thanks for the announcement, can't wait to see what's next. We missed TBF this year, opting for Blues and Brews instead. You know what that means, TBF 2012 baby!!! On my birthday no less, June 22. Can't. Freaking. Wait.

Thanks you TBF staff and volunteers, I am so pumped even though it's still 6 months away. Woot!

Also must echo, SCI was great this most recent tour but I agree, wrong time and place. Peace, and happy holidays all!  :)

Look ya'll...
We all have acts that we love more than others. That's practically the definition of a festival. For example, I've always found Yonder to be extremely run of the mill (especially when compared to the bevy of talent at TBF) but I'm glad they get invited to play because that's when me and my mountain bike go off for a little one on one time. Hell, I even know these guys personally and I like them, but their music is rather average. (That's not to say they don't know how to play!)
Then again, there's always surprises at TBF. For example, while I love Chris Thile I've seen him enough that I was going to go for a ride during his set with Michael Daves last year. At the last second  I decided to stay and watch, and I proceeded to pick my jaw off the ground several times, as those two together ended up being one of my favorites and blew me away.

What happened in here while I was visiting family.....did some festivarians not receive any Heen in their stockings?  Or is it too much heen?   huh

I want more of the same lineup
I want more diversity in the lineup
I want more bluegrass in the lineup
I want more diversity, but only if it's the kind of diversity that attracts people my age and that look like me

Why don't we all fry up some bacon and give a group hoot

FESSSSSTTTIIIIIIIIVAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!

Only on the internet can people complain about something so awesome.
