I haven't seen a posting regarding Adam on the forum yet, so I thought I'd let those who knew Adam know that Adam passed away a week ago.  Adam was a fixture at the festival and in the town for as long as I can remember.  Over the years, he worked many Planet Bluegrass festivals.  Although I wasn't able to be there, I understand there was a well attended memorial at Oak Restaurant in Telluride with plenty of bluegrass and Adam stories.  Be sure to lift a glass for Adam next time you're thinking of those mountain tones.  Here's the story in The Watch:  http://www.watchnewspapers.com/view/full_story/16236982/article-Adam-Stetson-Dies-of-Apparent-Heart-Failure?instance=top_story
