Have we forgotten about the infamous painting of toenails after the cocktails, Karl? They were purple if I recall correctly....

Wow!  All this talk about camps sounds more like small countries.  It's going to make this nomad's little tent feel pretty insignificant.  Maybe next year I will have learned a few tricks and have more time to be better prepared for a proper festival setup.  I am just going to be glad to get out of Afghanistan in time to come this year.

Oh... no... I wish you had not brought that up... The toe-nail painting girls always get me when I'm rather disabled.

Ahhh...what can I say that hasn't already been said.

My best memory is the one that happens every year as I head into my 10th. 10,000 or so people, no fights no arguments, just good times.

Others:
1) Everyone in Utarpia!
2) Doc mike winning the Martin in 06
3) Running in my first tarp run in 98
4) Bela and Future Man having a beer with us on our deck in 99
5) Singing John Prine's "Sam Stone" with my new friend Jim and seeing a tear in his eye...realizing that tear was because he lived the lines of that song.

I'll get to the musical one's later.....

Hey Doc Mike and Bgrassvol (a.k.a. CSI Mike)!!!!  You guys and all the members of Utarpia are definitely a great TBF memory.  I'm looking forward to more of them starting in about 103 days.  I'd like to announce that I already have 3 bottles of hooch stashed with about 6 more planned.  Do you think 2 bottles per day is enough?  Now that I write it, 9 seems like not very many.  Damn!

Kaptain,

Well....you can't really "explain" hooch as much as you have to "experience" hooch.  It's got some magical properties that are different for everyone.  For instance, with CSI Mike (aka Bgrassvol on here), it has the magical effect of turning wherever he is at 2am into his bed for the night.

Kaptain My Kaptain,

Unfortunately Hooch is not homebrew.  I do make something called "Crunchy Toad" which is mostly homemade, but would not really be classified as "homebrew" as much as it would be called "Toxic".

But, Daniela and I happen to make our own wine and will be bringing some to share!

Hooch, Homebrew, Crunchy Toad and I hope Doc Mike's Rum Punch makes a return as well.

Gotta start drinkin in the morning again to get my liver in shape.

If the smell of hooch is in the air, ole Michael will likely sleep in his chair!
