Nightgrass and our "gear"

I promise i searched looking for this answer but didn't come up with anything.  Background - wife and i are staying in Mtn. Village but have tickets to Thurs. and Sat. Nightgrass at the Sheridan.  so, if we go straight from the festival is there anything we can do with our chairs and packs?  I have read how small the venue is and can't see them being happy with us trying to bring in chairs and stuffed day packs to the show.  any advice/tips?

also, i know we need to be on the Gondola by 2am sharp, but anybody have any other tips for folks staying in Mtn. Village and planning on doing a Nightgrass show or two?  I did read that the Nightgrass shows have doors at 10:30 or so and maybe start at 11?  Question is, do they ever end before 2 or will we definitely be leaving RRE and M&S early to catch the Gondola?  thanks for any and all help.  not looking forward to the wife wanting to leave before OCMS starts at TBF so we can get there early for M&S.  i do like Abigail but figure we could catch all of OCMS and still probably not miss a note of M&S.

finally, what if we stay long and miss the Gondola one night?  any chance of getting back up to Mtn. Village?  not sure hiking it up there is a good idea given our likely state.  thanks so much!

Not sure about what folks do with their gear, but if you do happen to miss the last gondola and there might be some limited taxi services.  The hike isn't all that bad if it came down to it ... one year I used to do it every wednesday for the free concert in the village.   Takes about an hour.    Take the river trail west until you're across from the shell station and hang a left up boomerang ... spits you out near The Peaks.

I had the same question... I can send the chair back with my buddies who aren't attending the show, but should I have to hike back, I'd like to have my water, etc. with me.  Are backpacks allowed in Palm Theater?

The Sheridan has a 'pile' space for stuff under the stairs inside - a bit of a mishmash, but I've never lost anything or had it disappear while at a show.  Alternatively, take an earlier break to run your chairs back to Mtn Village & minimize for the evening-after dark, most people at the Fest forego their chairs to dance, keep warm, festivate, etc. 
The Palm is bigger - this will be my 1st time there, but I'm guessing it's like the Mtn Village Conference Ctr & you'll be able to take a backpack in.
TBF is a place of good karma, so it will all work out - wishing I were there already...

initially thought this would not be "doable" but looking at the schedule it looks like there could be some large enough gaps around 5:30 or so each day to make a quick run back to drop stuff and change.  we are in a condo right across from the conf. center so we are relatively close to the gondola.  any idea how long the round trip takes?  would figure at least 45 min. or so, right?  thanks for the help/advice!

I'd budget more like 1hr 15min   ... there could be lines on the gondola.
