OK, you get bacon champagne for the Cascadia event?

...and will it work for rumballs??  Won't it get all soggy?

Blech!   :hooch

Wet, soggy, limp bacon with fruit - ick!

honey as in the stuff the bees make?

Yes. My parents own some land and let some dude from California place Honey Combs in the tree strips. In return, we get just a ridiculous amount of clove honey. (That the Bees make)  LOL

I have so much of this stuff. By the 1/2 gallon, or by a little 12 oz angel bear full.

I just figured I would bring the nectar to Telluride and share with the kinfolk.     Wink
me thinks you should be talking to some of the home brewers and learn to make mead? you'll have a few takers on the honey but if that honey had an alcoholic content you would be inundated. Cheers

I really love that word, Inundated.   LOL

I wish I could brew a good batch of honey beer. But last time I tried, I failed miserably.  So I try and stick to what I do best,  Lil hombre  and just give it away. Maybe if I give some nice fellow a couple gallons, we can have a dank batch of brew by Telluride 2012.     :cow

It's not every man that would allow you to take his honey home with you Rick, and to keep it for a year and bring it back in a way he won't even recognize.  Cheers

 Cheers
Jailhouse is bringing bacon wrapped brauts with hot mustard and black bean corn salsa again the year for the brew tasting. Wish we could do more.  huh
Need the festivarians to help out this year! The food with the brew taste has been a welcome addition. Desn't have to be fancy, but if you have a simple favorite finger food, please help out.  Thumbs Up

I am in Warner Field too and can bring a couple bottles of some raspberry mead I made 5 years ago. Wanna trade some honey for 3 bottles? I am the group with the gray and maroon ez-up along 3rd baseline for the last 5 years.

If I make it to Telluride by noon on Tuesday, I definitely will.  They don't open Warner Field till Wed AM, so I have a room in town.

I would definitely love to trade you! And I'm right next to you at Warner Field. We are always next to the fence where people exit the festival grounds, with 4 blue canopies usually spraying water overhead on hot afternoons.
