Last year we slept, uh, sat in line, and we had a fellow campmate relieve us about 4 in the morning.  We had ice on our sleeping bag.  And the last time I ran the tarp in (which is folded just so

), I pulled a hammie.  Bwhahahaha!  So much for experiencing the moment.  This year, it's just me, my boyfriend and my daughter, so it's up to us.  To tell you the truth, I'm there for the pre-fest.  I can see all these performers throughout the year, here in Denver.  But I so love Telluride.  I go for the hikes and the TP pickin' and grinnin'.  Once the festival starts, It's less relaxing.  I like to get close, so I can see the performers, and we do.  We're right beside the sound booth, so that's not bad.  But festivating is a lot of work!
