I know I like to listen to live shows from artists I'll see at upcoming festivals to help me get a sense of what I'll hear, so wanted to highlight so thought some links to shows online might be nice.  I am sure other people have others/better.  Remember to support these artists by buying a cd/shirt/merch/what have you.

Of course there is always the LMA.

Railroad Earth
Sheaffer/Skehan in Boulder very nice

Emmylou Harris
new album Hard Bargain live

Cornmeal
HOB

Trampled by Turtles

UCCS

Plant & Band of Joy
Some songs from Lousiville

If you don't like something, change it.  Otherwise change the way you feel about it.

I tried some of those that take the torrent thing, and I downloaded the software to play it, but it still doesn't on my computer. Is there some trick to it?

Hey Cindy Lou download this player and as long as the downloads are in FLAC they will play

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

If you want to decode them to wave and burn them to disc download and use this program

You use the software to "open" the torrent for download, and it will download individual "flac" files that you can play using the either the file mentioned in the last post or you can play them using "winamp".

Hope that makes sense for you. Flower

Do yourself a favor and look for the Railroad Earth show on 06/28/2008.  The sound quality is impeccable, and the show is solid.  I believe I found it in the live music archive at web.archive.org.
