Cool, thanks Tom  Cheers
I'm sure you have amazing memories too, and I won't fail to quiz you about them, don't worry   Wink
Although, beware, they'll be a lot of: "and how amazing was Alison in 1991?", or "and how amazing was Alison in 1992?" I can go on endlessly on that subject...  Flower

While in Telluride I promise not to hassle people about their experience of seeing Alison Krauss live too much..

And meeting her in person is such a treat. She's such a wonderful person. Flower

I'm flyin' solo so I promise to meet as many new festivarian friends as possible. I can't think of a better place to hangout and meet new people!

It's going to take an act of God to miss this year's lineup, whether my friends come through or not!

Well, all I can say is: don't wait in for the friends or you'll never make it! If I had, I wouldn't be coming at all this year!
Be honest, only you can know in you heart of hearts how much you want to experience Telluride, and getting other people round to your way of thinking takes too much time...
For me it was quite simple really, when I was looking at flight ticket prices from London back in January, and everyone around me going: yeah, I'd love to, really.... but not prepared to commit. Well, after watching the prices steadily go up over two weeks, I thought: it's now or never! and just booked them! And I can tell you right now, 3 months down the line, I've never been so happy I did!
What's funny is, now when I tell people about my trip, they're like: what?! you're going to a festival in the US on your own?? and I'm like: yeah!  :) and it feels great!!! And I know I'll be making so many more friends that way!  Cheers

Well, it's nice to know that someone else is in the same boat (non-committal friends)...we will definitely have to meet up while at the festival!

It's nice to know there are others in the same boat. I don't feel near as bad now. Maybe we'll all run into each other at a Nightgrass show. I can't wait to see Crooked Still at the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon! It will be a good time.

No worries  :) I just wanted to put it out there so that you know it's not that bigger issue... think of it this way, you'll be making friends in Telluride that you can guarantee will be there to enjoy the fest with you for the years to come!  Cheers
Looking forward to meeting you all!!!!

Wha???  No waffle???  How could that be???   I, personally, am a HUGE fan of Jerry's waffles!   If you are REALLY nice you may get lucky and get one with strawberries and maybe even whipped cream!!!!
Oh Yeah!!!  Now that's what I'm talkin' about!!!   Bring on the waffles!
