Thanks for sharing all of this info.  I've wanted to build a solar system myself for the past several years, but just never got around to it.  With all this info, maybe I will actually get it done this Spring.

I stumbled across this and figured I would share with this group.  It's a pretty good 3-part series about how to build a solar panel.  I'm not sure how heavy these panels are, but they look to be pretty solidly built.

Anyone have any thoughts on a small charger such as this one?
Solar Rechargeable Battery Pack  I realize it's not gonna run lights/etc but just to use for cells/etc.

And you can always grind your coffee at home.  The maple bacon coffee beans I brought were so oily it gunked up the grinder, so now I grind it pre-fest. I know, it tastes better when it is freshly ground, but hey, it's coffee and it's brewed fresh and it's festivaaaal so that's the best coffee in the world!  yee ha! Coffee
