I am returning to TBF for the second year since I had so much fun last year. I'm trying to change it up a little and make the travel cheaper. Greyhound runs to either Silverton or Montrose, which are less than 75 miles away. I would hate to rent a car for such a short drive, only to have it sit for the rest of the week. If anyone knows of a transportation service from either of these towns it would be much appreciated!!! Or if someone is making the trip to Telluride and has room for three people we will defenitly help pay for gas!!

Be safe, have fun! See you at the Festival

Hey Allen!

You've come to the right place for help with your festi-travels  Thumbs Up
I was in a similar predicament last year for my first TBF, and managed to hitch a ride with some friendly festivarians all the way from Grand Junction ( love you Miki!  Cheers )
My best advice is posting on the "Hitch a Ride" section of the forum, which has been designed specifically for this purpose!
As regulars told me and I later found out, it is a little early to organize a ride, as no one knows for sure when and how they're getting to TBF 2010 yet, but getting your post out there won't do any harm  Thumbs Up
From my personal experience, I was submerged by offers as the date approached, and hitching a ride way a great way to kick off my first TBF with some fun lovin' festivarians!  :hop
So I definitely recommend this economical and environmentally friendly way to travel!  Medal
Get making festifriends early, that's what I say  Wink
Best of luck!

I'm pretty sure there is a shuttle that runs from Montrose to Telluride.  Probably from the airport so check out the Montrose Airport site and you just might have a plan B in case rides with festivarians don't work out.

That would be Telluride Express  Cheers

I'll be making my annual trek up from the desert of AZ; however, I usually have space for 1 traveler.
