hey all, hope you have a great turkey day holiday with your fam and friends.  In case you have that super secret unusual grandmas recipe, post it here.

Wild rice, sourdough stuffing:

Cook one cup of wild rice.  Combine with sauteed onions, celery, carrots.  Mix thoroughly.  Add sauteed wild mushrooms, salt, pepper, herbs and fresh garlic to taste.  I like Herbs de Provence along with sage.  Fresh thyme is also excellent. Toast some pecans and toss in melted butter.  Cube two cups sourdough bread crumbs and toss in remaining butter.  Toss all together.  Beat one egg into a cup of chicken stock.  Pour over stuffing in a baking dish and bake for 30 min at 300.  Add chopped parsley and more wild mushrooms.  Serve to rave reviews.

Raise a glass to your health, your family's health, and to our collective good fortune in enjoying such abundant food.

Next: post your leftovers recipe
